Super Blue Blood Moon over Rexburg , Idaho on January 31, 2018 kept itself hidden behind clouds the majority of the time. This is a fleeting glimpse of the moon before totality, then back behind the clouds it went. Shot with a Nikon 200-500mm lens at 500mm, 1/50 sec, f?5.6, ISO 1600. Sadly, this exposure is about 3-4 stops underexposed,:brightened up in Lightroom. But I am impressed at how sharp the image is due to Nikons Vibration Reduction Technology considering it was handheld.
